Purpose: The School Health Services Award is presented annually to honor an individual or entity, other than a school nurse/s, whose contributions or accomplishments to the field of school health have made a positive impact on the lives of school students.
It is created to bestow public recognition and honor on someone or some group whose support of school nursing and school health promotion is exemplary.
Award winners may be from within the educational community or from some other part of the community that serves the health interests of school students.
