The National Association of School Nurses (NASN) offers an array of awards, grants and scholarship opportunities -several examples of which are listed below. For more information on deadlines and the application process, please click here.

Shirley Steel Scholarship Fund: The fund was established to improve the practice of school nursing by assisting registered nurses employed in schools to advance their education by offering two scholarships of $750.00.

Sally Williams Legislative Award: The purpose of the award is to provide funding for a NASN member to attend a legislative education program, in order to be able to work better to improve school nursing practice, to promote school health through legislation, and to advocate for children through legislative action. The award is in the amount of $1500.00.

New Member Annual Conference Scholarship: All new members who join NASN prior to April 1st each year are eligible to be randomly selected to receive a $1500.00 scholarship for NASN Annual Conference expenses.
